i wanna install oil temp. and oil pressure gauges for my car. N E body know that around how much? i wanna mount it on the A column tho....:rolleyes:

Autometer geuge would be around $50-60 each depends on what brand.
duel pod Pillar would be $57 for our car (part#20590)
installation cost is about $140 for both.
Technik motorwerk will charge you a way more than other bodyshops..
go lordco to check it out for the gauges.

um....btw where do u recommand to buy those gauges and where to install for the price of $140??

See, if you know how to wire things up yourself, you can do save on a LOT of costs.

Lordco sells the gauges Jacktam mentioned (Autometer), Technik can get you those as well...but the gauges I was thinking of were along the lines of Trust, Blitz, HKS, etc...so they will naturally be more expensive.

get either Blitz or HKS....hehe...:)

yeah, lordco is a good place to buy the autometer gauge; however, if you like to get the other brand of gauge, I suggest you getting it over the internet, because local shop will cost you a lot(coz the usually get it from japan or the state).
IMO, autometer gauges are OK, and its look good, not to mention they're much cheaper than others.
For the installation place, I've no idea for these two gauges, but most of preformance shops could do it for you like bavalea(sp?) or moto-R.

compare w/ Autometer. how much would Blitz's cost?? i'm just considering something look good and of coz not embarrissing my Impreza! :D

also i think i should look for a mounding for A column installation as well? do Lordco or those performance store have those as well?

as I said, part#20590 is for the autometer duel pod pillar. This is the only one I have seen all over the market.(not included the custom made product on private or vendor) go this link to check to find the part: www.autometer.com
you can ALSO order it from any lordco for $57 taxed, it takes about 10 days to ship over.

Bavaria is on Alderbridge and Shell, that complex by the railway tracks.

A&J is on Bathgate Way I believe? By Ikea.

Moto-R doesn't have a shop right now. Don't know what's up with them...looking for a new shop I think.

Yea, like Jacktam said, Japanese gauges will probably be double or triple the price of Autometer gauges.

No idea...just call and ask...or if you want it cheap...just go Autometer...you can't expect cheap prices for quality Japanese parts...just isn't going to happen.

IMO you are just paying for the name. whether it's autometer, blitz,hks or whoever, as long as it reads accuately, that's all the gauge has to do.
