OK. but it all depends. Will it fit? yes. Will you have to mess with your cooling lines?yes. Nothing major.

If I'm not mistaken, the EJ22T had a beefier oil pump to feed those piston squirters. The WRX pump will probably not make enough pressure if it has to run the squirters, even if it does fit.

a WRX oil pump and EJ22T oil pump are physically identical in peices parts. The only thing different between the two is the EJ22T pump has shims down in it to raise the oil pressure. We have put these on WRX motors and it raises the oil pressure by 10-15psi. You can buy the shims from subaru if you just want to shim your WRX oil pump.

Skully are you sure that the EJ22 pumps internal gear isnt wider, resulting in more volume?

im 100% sure, we took them apart and measured them with a set of calipers. The internal rotors are identical. Only difference is the shims in the pump spring housing.
