Tarmac II will clear STi Brembos.
They look the same otherwise.

I think the original Tarmac I had a more pronounced circular area around the hub where the spokes start. The same area on the Tarmac II is a smoother transition from the hub to the spokes. Also, the spokes on the T I may be a little thicker than those on the T II. T I was a direct knock-off of the Prodrive P1. IMO, the T I and T II are both good looking wheels that appear to be of strong design. Both may be a little on the heavy side.

The original Tarmacs looked more like the Prodrive P1's. The Tarmac II's look more like the Prodrive GC010's. Also, the original Tarmacs only came in 17 inch versions...

if you get technical, Rota calls the tarmac 2 the GR-A http://www.rotawheels.com/products.php?id=27

and here is the tarmac 1 for comparison http://www.rotawheels.com/products.php?id=48

the tarmac 2 is a more refined design, in english that means its a bitch to clean. i have a set, they're gorgeous, but a bitch to clean when they're on the car. i cant tell you how hard it is to clean the tarmac 1s, i've never owned them.

now look at the monkey! :disco:

I don't have my finger on the pulse of the wheels market so much. What is this Tarmac III you speak of? That's not the G-Force, is it?
