I have a MY02 2.5TS wagon, and I'd like to track down a ej20 Sti engine and 6 speed tranny...How would I go about this? I heard there are companies that specialize in this sort of stuff. Does anybody know of any?

Well you'll also need the ECU and wiring harness to make it all work. Anyway these guys bring in the engines, maybe able to get the other stuff. Give em a try.

Yeah, there's a bunch of stuff that I'm going to need (ECU, mounts for engine and tranny, water sprayer for intercooler, hood...and much much more), that's why I'm starting the research now. I want to be able to do the swap in Springtime, and I'd like it to be as seamless as possible. Thanks for the link. I also heard of a company called Tanabe that imports engines...I'll have to look for them on the internet.

Be very very careful where you buy an engine. People might say that they have an "STi" engine for sale, but in truth, STi engines are not easy to come by. There are reports of some shady engine delaers painting intake manifolds red to even further deceive buyers.. Be especially careful if you purchase a second hand engine!

I'd start a search for a real, legit, STi engine with foreign rally shops and teams. They've always got spare stuff lying around :)
