Planning on swapping the 2.0 motor for the 2.5, with the 5 speed. wondering if the motor swap has any catches, and if there are any tips that would be useful. ( going for 500whp, and got the money) help is very much appreciated

if you are going for 500whp, you should get a tuner block, like the crawford s3l. The stock usdm sti 2.5 liter will not hold that much power.

stock block will hold 500whp easily. Longevity is still in question as the blocks havent been pushed hard for very long. But, i dont see why it wouldnt last as long as you didnt beat on it 100% of the time its running.
