Though I didn't get a responses for my previous posts I went ahead and made a license plate frame. It's on black acrylic with white vinyl for the the logo. The picture doesn't show the glossiness of the substrate very well but you get the picture.

If you're looking for a plate holder design that might be of interest to NewAge Impreza owners, devise a mounting bracket that uses the factory-supplied mounting holes in the bumper. Your bracket requires new holes when used with a NewAge Impreza.

Jon can you post a pic and tell me the dimensions/details of this mounting bracket? I don't have an impreza yet so I'm unable to do this myself. Thanks Subie Gal for the referral

how about making the top border a little thicker and putting "IMPREZA" at the top as well in the correct font that should be used... not sure what it is, but the one subaru uses. I'll get one either way, beats having the dealer frame on there. And in my case, the holes don't matter the dealer already drilled new ones :(

Thanks for the support. The acrylic can be basically any colour that I can get my hands. Any specialty colours, reflective colours, fluorescent colours and even black and white carbon fibre designs are available for the vinyls. I'd be glad to make them for this fantastic board.

I can't wait till November when I *HOPEFULLY* get my 02 RS.

If I get the go ahead to make them. I hope I will get the artwork or the font name of the logo. Any other customizations wanted from individual users are from the club can be done easily. Even the design of the plate can be changed if it is not suitable as it is.

If we are planning on having these made, then PM me because I would love to have one for my car! :)

What is a "plate holder design"? Can you elaborate or better yet have any pics?

Are you making them yourself, or outsourcing them?

I work for a promotional products distributor, and can probably get them made for dirt cheap, but there would be a minimum quantity.

Thanks for the support... I haven't received any replies from the Imprezidents yet but hopefully I will. About the customizations to the tops or anything they can be done. I have the Subaru logo and the WRX, RS logos on my computer ready to be cut if wanted.
Maybe I should put up a poll or something.. to see how many people are interested in buying one.

The idea I liked from another thread like this one was putting the usernames on the frame. Granted, then I have to walk around all day and explain what a dorkfish is, but hey, what you gunna do.

The cops around here don't like frames that cover part of the plate, so can you make ones that mount behind the plate?
