Just ordered a utec from spun motorsports and I was wondering if I can use my manual boost controller with utec or if I have to hook up my stock boost controller. If so would it be better to buy the perrin ebcs. I know i should probably search this but dont have much time on the computer and it will be here by the end of the week
thanks

The UTEC can control your boost with the stock boost solenoid and comes with an ABC(aux. boost con.) as a bleeder in open loop (it's been a while). In closed loop it's not nessesary to use the ABC and the stock solenoid will work fine but might have a little spiking. I have the Perrin EBC and it does a great job regulating the boost with the UTEC.
I wouldn't use the MBC fwiw.

TurboXS is best place to get the other UTEC parts. Or ebay if someone has a spare ABC.

You may not need the ABC. I'd try to make the car run the boost you want without the ABC first.

A.B.C. is a must for the utech to cover your boost duty....unless you run a mechanical,or other boost controller....

abc is a bleeder valve. Helps the bcs if the values in your map dont get you to where you want to be i.e. hitting the correct boost targets as per the TurboXS manual. Some cars need it, come don't. Best to install it closed, run the basemap, check your logs and take it from there, increasing values in boost map to reach targets, if you have to put in values over 400 for example, try opening abc a few turns then log again to check boost levels.
