Maybe this has been covered and maybe I completely suck at searching, but I found nuthin.

Does anyone have information the when the Utec is planned to be released for the 06 models? I'd guess the STi's is probably nearly identical to the 05, if not identical....but the WRX would probably need a revamping with the new engine. I e-mailed TurboXS but they didn't respond. :(

soooooo..anyone? I just picked my 06 up on saturday and I need to hurry up and get it in the 12's. ;)

I also have the same problem... I want the new UTEC for my 06 WRX but no answer of the turbo xs´s guys to any of my questions... I am really mad, if cobb releases their access port for my JDM car i will buy it from them, at least they respond to our quesitons..

we're getting effed.

I've got a ton of suspension mods and not a damn power mod yet because I want a frickin Utec.

hmm I didnt know there wasnt a utec for 06. So whats the problem? (speculation welcome)

All this waiting is just because of the new style harness, is what they(Turboxs) said, that the 06 ecu has

perhaps they are waiting because they want their new firmware to be included on it, which btw is still under development but close to being completed.

look what the turbo xs guys answered me almost after a month..

We are working feverishly to get our 06 ecu harness competed. It will be released very shortly, keep an eye on our website.

Your source? TXS has never given info on release dates and when they do its "soon".....

Just talked to Nathan and he said their planned release date is June.

06 STI UTEC is already out and has been since before the car was launched.

The 06 WRX UTEC is on target for June. However in all honesty everyone knows that target dates can slip (this one was supposed to be done in March) so until I actually have the next-gen UTEC in my hands complete with harness for the 06 WRX I am not really solid on that date.
