ive got an opportunity to buy a turboxs UTEC with the stage 2 base map. my car currently has a HKS 3"turbo back exhaust and a uniflow short ram intake. how well would that work with the stage 2 map? any advice?

From my experience any exhaust system would work. Before I had my utec installed I was running invidia tbe, aem short ram intake, headers, and a fmic. You won't have any problem cause your running the HKS exhaust ( any exhaust would work ) I never had a problem with my short ram intake even without my utec installed. If you get a code from your exhaust, the utec should fix it. If I remember right.

recommend not running your car too hard until you can get it professionally tuned unless you can do it yourself. the stock utec maps run rich. tuning will get you maybe
10+ horses and 35+ ftlbs to the wheels.

Stage 2 is normally TBE, Intake, and Engine Management (UTEC). I am running stage 2 custom tuned maps on mine with just TBE, Intake, UTEC.
