Insurance rates came back today. To insure a 2.5 rs would cost me 2.1k a year.
IF i buy a impreza brighton could i convert it to be a 2.5rs (get a crashed rs and put in engine, transmission (or crashed STI engine transmission), and body panels. I need help guys!

Sorry I am too confused to help you. What is your goal? If you want a RS get a RS. A STi is not a RS. I am so confused.:confused:

You can put an STi engine and trans. in an RS and make a very fast RS. That's what I'm planning on doing. Hopefully the STi will come over so I can get one in the country.

face it... Insurance companies hate us and charge us a crap load of money so we can drive around in our cars... I think I'm paying around $3000 a year (almost as much as my car payments).

I would check around some more unless there are no more insurance companies to call. I did and I ended up paying half what all the other companies were offering.

Seems like they all have their own demographic groups they like to sign on, so call till you find one that wants you!
