View Full Version : aP question Boxer112 03-05-2006, 08:38 AM i got my AP this week on wednesday. the shop i purchased from loaded a map right out the box, stage 2. is it recommended to go on Cobb's site and dl their map or is it the same map and dont even worry about the map..also, what is the difference between base map and real time maps? innova 03-05-2006, 08:48 AM I'd download the map from cobb's website because chances are that it is a newer version. Make sure you're have the right setup to go stg2 though, with a turboback exhaust. Load your basemap once, and then flash to as many real times as you want. It is what you put on top of the base map. You can only flash the base map 100 times or so but you can flash with a real time as many times as you want. Realtime maps are just a quick switch. Once you do the initial Cobb basemap (be stage1,2 etc..) you should only need to use realtime maps. Give it a few days to reach max boost. Check it out in 4th and 5th gears also. My question is after I switched to the real time map, I can just unplug it, correct? The only case that it stays plugin only when I want to read live boost :confused: any helps are appreciated...
