so i've been contemplating doing this for a while. I would like to really tone down the interior of the STi and make it easier to buy black aftermarket seats for later. I'm looking for an 05/06 WRX interior to swap with my 05 STi interior. The interior has 30K on it but anyone who knows me, knows how much of a stickler I am when it comes to keeping my car clean. I don't eat in my car nor allow other people to eat in it. Drinks are restricted to water. The passenger and rear seats are rarely used. I would be looking for a complete swap (e.g. seats, doorcards and carpet) and I can't really afford down time since the car is my daily driver, so it would need to happen in the course of a day. I would also be sound deadening my car at the same time, so any help in this area while the interior is going on would be most appreciated (treeski i'm looking at you). I'm kinda new to the whole interior swap thing, so the more experience around to help with it, the better. It would be a straight up trade. I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance from where I live near Boston (~hour or so). I'm also willing to meet up to evaluate each others interiors before the swap occurs.

Trevor did u end up going with the full black spec c interior? if so any fitment issues with the door cards?

I have all WRX interior swapped in with the spec c fronts.

Also the swap isn't that labor intensive. The guy I traded with and I were able to complete the whole swap in 2-3 hours.

i'd do it, but my front seat has a small hole in it, and my rather stoned friend dropped a blunt in the back seat, so that has a small hole as well.

between work and play, the subaru (as fun as it is) is still too small for me, so i'm seriously considering a silverado (so i can tow the boat, throw a toolbox in it, and still have room for misc. stock that i use on sidejobs (electrician)). im definately not buying a brand new car this time. huge waste of money. demo'd / leased with 15-20k on it, buy an extended warranty from chevy, and call it a day.

i have 20k on my 05 wrx premium (heated seats) its in the shop right now in an exterior related tragedy. when it went in, the interior was mint. i'll take pics when i get it back
