View Full Version : Phase I EJ25 Rods The Same As EJ22T's? MY99 2.5GT 03-13-2006, 01:25 PM Ive done some searching for forged EJ22t rods and ran accross a few sites that say the rods are the same between the 22t and 2.5. Is this true? Phase I EJ25 length is 5.185", with a 48mm journal, IIRC. Phase I EJ22T length is 5.137", with a 48mm journal. Notice Eagle doesn't state the journal size, because they are not aware of the differences ;) I offered to help them sort out their confusion, but they declined (they're smarter than us, and according to them, they sell 300 sets of these rods per year.) FWIW, the CRS5137S3D rods will fit in a EJ257, 207, and 205, for sure....I've done it. S. n2xlr8n 03-13-2006, 02:07 PM BTW, I have set of these for sale, new in the box. PM me. :D S. Only question I have now is where on earth can I find a set of Forged Rods for the Phase I 2.5 motor?
