View Full Version : FS: Custom bracket's for Rear Brembo's on WRX...
edmundu 03-13-2006, 07:36 PM This is a custom made pair of t6061 al brackets for a r160 Wrx rear fitment of Brembo Sti caliper's.
They are specifically for TWR Racing's 2pc rear rotor's! THESE WILL NOT FIT AN OEM STI ROTOR!!! Buy a pair of TWR rotor's, STI caliper's and add these bracket's, and you have a STI Brembo rear setup!

subaru 2 pot mounting location is different than the brembo 2 pot mounting location, just so you know. kartboy sells adapters for the 2 pots for a wrx, not sure if they would work on your fxt though.

The only issue is they do not make the kit anymore due to rising costs. You can still get the rotor's, but the bracket's or kit are not currently for sale....

When did they stop making brackets? I just bought that kit from them in Feburary.
kennyvb 07-30-2006, 07:22 PM Definitely still interested in the brackets. Just need confirmation on size rotor it was designed for. It figure it's either 310, 320, or 316. TWR hasn't responded to my inquiries.

They were designed for STI OEM size rotor's....316x20mm.

This I was told by Jack, about 2mths ago. Said it was getting prohibitively expensive to have the machine work/forging done. I would contact them directly, as things change....

Are you certain? Because the TWR website says the kit "allows you to retain the R160 hub. These rotors are the same rotors that we use in our rear 2-piston kits. " Then they only show "310mm/320mm X 20mm rotor 2 piece rotor" as the description under their own rear 2-piston kits.

Thanks for doing that! So are you also running the R160 Kit? If so, then I must have the 320mm as well. I know for a fact mine are 20mm, as Jack even shaved my rotor's down, because they were over spec at 21.2mm...
