does the cobb short shifter install same way as the kartboys?anyone?thanks

what car is it for?
if its the one with the roller bearings they go towards the front
the other style installs just like the ones we make

Hi Tom,is for 2002 wrx..sorry i didnt buy ur shifter,the reason is bcos i had to order other things from Cobb tuning...thanks alot for ur reply tho..:)

I have had Trey's shifter in both my cars (00RS and WRX), and one thing that I needed to do was to make a small cut in the metal plate that surrounds the shift fork.

The rod may rub against this plate if left stock, so I just cut a small notch in it for clearence. Nothing is affected, and it is a nice unit.
