I work with them on a daily basis. they are expensive. id go with pauter. ballitch 03-16-2006, 09:18 PM arent the bearing diameters for the EJ22T rods and phase I EJ25 the same? if so, you could use the EJ22t rods ( which are forged from factory) only thing is the EJ25 rods are 5.185'' long, and the EJ22T rods are 5.137'' so we are talking .052'' difference, or 1.3mm shorter. which would drop the CR from 9.7:1 to....my CR calc. isnt doin its job, and i dont know the formula off hand, but it should lower it a little bit. but i dont know if this would be desireable for that big of a piston with the shorter rods. ~Josh~ Crawford Performance 03-16-2006, 10:19 PM Has anyone seen a company that makes forged Rods for the Phase 1 EJ25 DOHC? If the dimensions are similar enough I would consider it. However the crank is no longer drop in to the 2.2 block. The diamter of the Phase I 2.5 DOHC is 2.008.
