but alaska only has 4 major cities, anchorage is such a small city, i see subaru everywhere because we go the same places, i bet i see the same subaru atleast 2wice a day..lol even on the board i only see about 30 of the same people posting, not really anyone different..unless they just joined..

I was in Texas for a few weeks a bit over a year ago, and I saw like 2 outbacks and one STi. That's it. Drove across the little state a couple of times, too. I was dissapointed.

Not by much. What's the greater vancouver population? Couple million? They should have a larger margin don't you think. I think we're doing just fine. As for Texas, they have a large bunch of people down there. I went to HIN in Dallas and to one of their meets and they had a least a hundred people show up. I guess too many cars to pick them out of a crowd?

I think we all know you're Canadian. It somes up so frequently. People should be proud of their heritage.

In a round abour way, I was agreeing with you. My point is that with their (Vancouver) population they should have more members. I don't think 10 members is "kicking our ass." NESIC is "kicking our ass."

Currently at 56. Given how few people live in Alaska compared to other regions, that's pretty good. If you think about how high our Subaru to non-Subaru ratio is here, that number doesn't look too high. But as said before, AKIC is small but active.

I think Alaska is well-represented. The only region I'd really expect us to "beat" would be Hawaii.

If it's really such a big deal ... how about everyone starts additional accounts to bump up our local membership to the levels we think we should have?

MAIC is in the lead by 4 members, and Hawaii with 7 members has pulled ahead of Puerto Rico by 5!
