I was going to ask the same thing--are the tail lights "tinted" or smoked? If so, I was the black WRX that was behind you leaving campus almost every day last semester! :lol: I waved a few times, but the driver was zoned and not looking.

OrionAK does your WRX have exhaust? The other day i heard one WRX Drive off w/ really loud exhaust, but I cant remember the color, either white or black. Such a small world.


Hehe, it did about 2 weeks ago! Traded it in. But it wasn't a loud annoying exhaust, it was a deep and grumbly one, so unless you were pretty close to me, it wasn't me you heard! :)

Look for me now in the silver Forester XT on campus (it'll be the one with the WRX hoodscoop since it's turbo too! There are a few Foresters on campus, but I think I'm the only XT...but maybe not).

In answer to the "how much fun" question: I love driving my wrx. But I'm pretty sure I would love an STI more... but which ever one you get, you can hardly choose a more enjoyable and practical car for Alaska than an impreza.

I had an older Legacy, so basically a more luxurious RS. I did some things to it, there ARE turbo kits out there, and a lot of suspension gear that mates to both WRX/RS.

Way to Go Jake, now you just need to coax them into Solo-ing

kate05: To answer you, I love my car. :cool: I've had it since June. This is my first AWD vehicle and I love it! I also love the 35/65 (normal) split on the AWD for this model because it makes driving more fun when the peddal on the right is pushed a little too far. ;) I've been messing with the center diff control to find the best setting for my driving habits on snowy/icy roads. Also, it took me a little time to get used to the idea of 6 gears, but not that long. :p Oh, and it is always the trucks....

Congrats on the purchase and hope you continue to enjoy it!

I saw Sam's dancing at the Sushi Spot "ricer meet". I don't know if "nice dance moves" is how I'd describe it, but it's definitely something to see.

If you see an old blue Accord with Scuderia Shields on the fenders, or a purpleish-blueish Jimmy that sounds like a semi, that's me.
