Hey Guys,
Just FYI...Scooby Sport mufflers from the GC body cars will fit a 2006 STi. I bolted mine up yesterday and the only mod that needed to be made was the exhaust hanger on the entrance of the muffler.
The sound is nice, not nearly as loud as it was on my 98 2.5 RS, but has a nice low burbble to it. It definitely flows a little better than stock, revs build a little faster.
Regards,
Chris

Pat,
I just ordered Defi's so I don't have a decent boost gauge yet. Forgive my ignorance as this is my first turbo car...What exactly is boost creep...???

How can you get boost creep from an axleback?

<- new to turbos, i happen to have a scoobysport from my RS that i was thinking about modifying and putting on my car if i dont sell it.
I have been browsing through the 2.5T forums as of late and have been trying to read alot about boost creep. From my understanding it just isnt safe to put a turbo back exhaust on the 06 cars without EM.
to your question about it being just an axleback. i have also read where people were capping there aftermarket systems with the stock muffler in an attempt to control boost creep.
so i was just asking if he had seen any.
is it possible to get boost creep with just an axleback?

It is pretty unlikely to get boost creep from just an axleback IMHO. You still have 2 cats and a resonator, all of which are more restrictive than the axle back muffler.
