What's up guys, I just put a little bit of 110 Octane into my tank, (About half a tank.) Went to the strip and it performed very well, a tidbit faster too! But the thing is when I look at my exhaust tip it's a bright white color instead of the dark black? Is it bad to run this fuel?

yes its bad.
Frist off, thats leaded fuel if you are getting white deposits. That will kill your o2 sensors and the cat converters
Second off, there is such a thing as too much octane. You arent tuned for 110, so you are losing power there. On a tune made for pump gas (@93) you are best off not running higher than 100octane. In fact, you almost certainly would have been faster on 100 octane than you were on 110.

If you were catless, or tuned for 110 octane, then it would be a lot better to use. However, it is still very bad for your o2 sensors, and if you arent catless, it can (and does over time) clog the cats up as well.

My car doesn't have cats. But other then killing the 02 Sensors and cats, will it have any effect on the engine or anything?

Ok so no problem there, however its still bad for the o2 sensors and if you are on stock EM or even aftermarket EM that is tuned for pump gas, 110 is too much and you are better off with 100.

Other than the o2 sensors (since you are catless) you will be fine. I have a buddy that runs torco leaded concentrate all the time and he has no problems (the car LOVES the lead too)
But get a racegas map done if you want to run 110. 110 octane, when tuned for it, will pick you up a GOOD chunk of power.

I've got a Vishnu Stage 1 Reflash, that's it.

Call and ask if he has a racegas map for it. I think you can switch between 2 maps with the rear defrost switch cant you?

If not, you just need enough octane to max out the ECU's ign advance, which 100 octane will easily do.
If you dont have a source of 100 octane close to you, try to get methanol or something else (cant remember the name right now because I am brain dead or something, starts with a T and is paint thinner) and dump 2 gallons is a tank of gas.

Well, see the thing is, when I ran the 93, then I ran the 110 I felt a pretty significant difference, but I don't know, I wasn't planning on running it all the time, just on a track day, I'll go back to putting the 93. But one more question, everybody around here with a decently fast car puts their gas at a station called Pumpers, ( This is the place with the 110 Octane.. ) They add 10% ethanol to their gas, what exactly does this do?

Thats just for the EPA 10% Ethanol is supposed to be better for our planet? Who knows i have heard arguments on both sides about that..

I am suprised to see that was on the pump though because the 110 is an "off road" product and where i get mine (not used in this new car it was '90 VW Corrado) its listed on everypump except the 110.?

Someone probably just stuck the sticker on there not knowing what they were doing.

In fact, you almost certainly would have been faster on 100 octane than you were on 110.That's probably not true. For instance, if I take straight iso-octane (RON=100, MON=100) and add tetraethyl lead at the rate of 1.29 ml per gallon of fuel, I'll end up with a 110 octane fuel (RON=110, MON=110) that has the same specific energy as the 100 octane unleaded iso-octane. Knowing a fuel's octane number tells you nothing about its specific energy.
