Given the stringent emissions testing in Massachusetts, what type of changes are legal? Is a turbo-back system legal. It is my understanding that it eliminates one of the catalytic converters. Will the car still pass an emissions test?

Also, given the car is all wheel drive, where would you get the test done?

Appreciate any insight. Thanks.

AFAIK anything aft of the CAT is legal. Some places will give you a hard time if you have an obvious aftermarket system, but they have no legal position on it.

Check out www.marmv.com

They cannot dyno an AWD car and will just sniff it in neutral.
