My 2004 STI will probably be heading to UK at the end of the year so I am starting to prepare the necessary items to get road legal there...
The main items I know of are rear fogs, and mph speedometer.
Fogs no problem, I already sourced the switch, wiring and relays, just need to fit bulb holder in a spare location which is available.
My main question is regarding the speedo, which is currently Japanese spec, 180kmph max.
What I am planning is Euro spec speedo, i.e. main reading kmph, smaller reading mph. Reason being I hope to keep the original mileage covered (very low and documented) which is in kms.
Options I see so far:
1. Euro speedo.... are they easy to find? I believe should be both kmph and mph.
2. Maybe Canada spec speedo... if this is in kmph and mph
3. Use converter to show mph instead of kmph on original speedo. Not my prefered option as the mileage covered will be incorrect.

Anyone imported a car and done this?
Last car I sent to UK was easy, Hilux Surf new speedo face readily available, reads mph and kmph while keeping the recorded mileage in kms. Haven't seen such an item for the STI yet, plus the fact that currently max is 180kmph doesn't help matters.

Any ideas guys? Any advice appreciated...
