So a few weeks ago i blacked out my headlights. Then I noticed i didn't put the paint thick enough on one of them so i took it apart and repainted it, and put it back in last night. When I put the headlight back in it worked fine. Unfortunatley it rained very hard last night and my headlights no longer work (their is no visble water or condensation inside the headlights however their was water around the wiring inside the engine bay!). It is just the headlights themselves that don't work, The brights, Turn signals, and Daytime running lights work fine. Now the fuses seem fine, all the HL fuses are still connected, and unbroken but they have a little brown on the prongs. (I'm talking about the small fuses I don't know hwo to tell if the relay is messed up, and im going to clean off the other fuses when i get home). I have yet to examine the bulb themselves, but i will do that when i get home. Since both headlights do not work and the fuses seem fine my assumption is that its either the lights themselves or the relays, or some type wire I could have damaged when i put them in (unlikely because they worked, but it could have helped cause whatever happened). I was looking for some input as to whether this is a correct assumption, and or some other possabilites. Since its just the Headlights im pretty sure this is the issue unless somone can throw somthing more serious i could have screwed up into the picture lol.
random additonal question...
do autoparts stores generally carry the relays for our car?
Generaly speaking about how much would i pay if it is a relay?
