After replacing the transmission, the car wont start. It will barely turn over and sometimes the starter will tick. weve tried charging the battery but it has no effect. The only two things we could have missed was a broken ground on the transmission and a moved ground to the bottom bolt of the starter (instead of the top).

The only thing we can think of is something to do with the starter or the battery.

Well we charged the battery while we fixed the trans ground and tightened the starter ground (most likely the problem, just too tired to realise it last night).

Started right up, and the new tranny works great!

could you post pics of the ground, think I might be looking at the same problem.

Yeah looks like it could be my prob, when i turn my rig onto reds...Nothing powers up such as fuel pump etc. Reds turn on, and the engine can be attempted to started but no fuel to getting to the injectors :S

Anyways, good to see a prob fixed :)

Problem Solved, it was the ground to the starter.
