I have a 2000 RS and i got some hella 500 driving lights that i want to mount on the bumper

make brackets or just drill into the bumper and mount them like that?

sorry I miss read your post, I thought you wanted to mount them above the bumper. yeah not to many post in there about how to mount them there. The bumper beam is right there, and I would imagine that you could drill right to it to mount the lights.

thats what i was thinking too but i figured i would post here first ill just have to take the time to look at it one day
maybe when i drop the headers to wrap them

you would probably need to build an "L" shaped bracket to get it into the right position, I know there are a couple of holes already in the bumper near those area, just can't say where exactly.


I had wanted to mount lights there myself, but the lights were just to big and heavy to mount there without the support of a bar.

then it kinda grew from there...

Ill have to get in there and look one day ill make sure i remember to take pictures of all the stuff i do to mount them since its not done for that mounting location yet

guess its off to the hardware store to get some straight iron to make mounting brackets
