On the latest version of ecuexplorer you have to right click where the data values are and "check" the "Trigger on Defog switch" selection. You may also have to select "defog switch" under the menu below the realtime data values. You can also choose the logging directory (where it is saved) by right clicking.
Are you seeing realtime data while your driving, but it just doesn't save it?
If you have too many items to log selected it may freeze up and stop logging. Try reducing the number of parameters to less than 5 and see if that works. If it does you will have to reconfigure the comm settings under the options menu. There are instruction on how to do this on www.tari.co.za
If your still having problems post up a question on tari, not many people visit it but the ones that respond should be able to help you with any problems you have.
