how much power u guys think i can get tuned with these mods

txs uppipe
3" turboback with hi flow cat
aps short ram intake
ebay huge TMIC
lighter pulley

on a ecutek tune.

right now i have a ecutek tuned for intake, uppipe, and 3" tbe.

will i feel a significant difference if i get it retuned for those mods?

btw im in so cal so 91 octane ftl

what other mods should i be looking at that won't break the bank before i go get a tune?
before you suggest a turbo upgrade, i dont have $1000+ to spend.

240whp.

a good tune is ALWAYS significant.

I don't think he'll hit 240whp on 91 cali fuel... maybe low 230's. Really depends on how lucky you are with the tune and happiness of the engine on your grade of fuel.

would any other supporting mods help, such as turbo inlet pipe?

makes me wonder how much power im putting down now....

turbo inlet pipe will help spool.... maybe 1-2whp

im guessing you'll put down 220-245... dyno dependent

225whp with 91 gas

I say he'll make that much too... But Ill also say that he will knock when he's driving on the road cause the the intake temps of a short ram while on a dyno with the hood up is much cooler than intake temps while driving on the road.

while driving?

i don't see that. there's a lot of air moving around under the hood.

now, stopped at a redlight or in traffic--that's another story.

besides, ANY good tune will include a road tune after the dyno. to do otherwise is hack.

what mods do u guys think i'll need to get to around 250-260 whp without a new turbo + supporting mods ?

basically, cheapest way to achieve that feat.

water injection.

Engine Management & Tune, Turbo-back exhaust, catless uppipe, THEN water/alky injection to max out your turbo without new injectors or fuel pump.

i already have a tbe and uppipe.

can someone explain what water/alky injection is, well i know what it is, but what exactly does it do?

edit: never mind, just read the forum. how often do you need to change the water/meth?

I agree, a road tune is needed. Still, record the intake temps while on dyno and record the intake temps while driving. there is a great difference.

just save up and upgrade your turbo....your spending just as much money just over a longer span of time. Upgrade Turbo.
