I have read up on connecting gauge lights to the clock harness and still had a few questions. So I have Autometer Phantom Gauges in the Clock replacement housing. The guages are Oil Pressure, Boost, and A/F Ratio. I have the boost gauge hooked up and the Oil Press. is about to be hooked up but I want to hook up the lights so that in one [edit]"fell swoop" I can button it up. The A/F Ratio gauge is not a wideband so I do not believe I hook it up. The question I had was that there are four places to hook up to according to this post on Scoobymods.com: http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3005 And coming out of the lights for the gauges I have only two wires, power(I believe) and ground. I was curious which of the do I use to get power and dimming for my gauges? I plan on using the process of the above thread.

The easiest wire to get to is the violet wire at the clock plug, which gives panel illumination, but this wire isn't connected to the dimmer circuit.

The wire you want that connects to the dimmer circuit is ground controlled through the dimmer switch on the direction indicator switch. I believe the color you want for variable dimming is Orange/White. There should be a disconnected harness around the clock somewhere for the optional boost gauge. That one should have the wire you want.

It's "one fell swoop" that you want; one foul swoop would probably melt parts of your wiring harness.
