i have a 95 leg im trying to get back together after o compression in cyl 3. i pulled the head and found a large hole in the exhaust valve. i bought a set of 94 turbo heads to use in my 95 leg. they look almost exact other than the coolant and oil feed. i switched the cams and rocker asembly from the original non-turbo heads to the turbo heads because it looked like the cam had more duration, and the rocker assembly from the non turbo heads had rollers compared to the non-roller rockers from the turbo heads.

my problem is that when i turn the cam gear( not installed yet) i see that some of the valves dont close completely. should i put the turbo cams and rocker assembly back in the turbo heads?

Sounds like you found out what is different between those heads.

Sounds like the valve stems are too long. Did you use the valves from the turbo or NA heads?

only thing i changed was cams and rocker assembly. the turbo valves are still in the turbo head. its only 1 of the intake valves which doesnt close all the way. the gap is about as big as the "I" on a keyboard.
