ok so before anyone tells me to research this before posting....I DID..a little lol..i read the unabomers forum on it and it was great. but i am still unsure of what to do.

basicly i have a 2002 wrx with tbe. final product i want a wrx that can do 270-300 whp but not push the limits of the car b/c its my daily driver. i know cobb ap stage 2 is great and ecuteck is great. but what do you guys think i should get? i want to get ecu upgrade soon so i can have a better driving wrx. cobb website has some nice avg numbers showing for stage 2 are they accurate?....then i want to save up for tmic or fmic (prob tmic b/c i like the stock look better and shorter pipes), turbo (not sure what kind maybe vf39 or vf34 idk yet diff story), sti pinks, fuel pump (if needed) and re-tune by a shop or get a map online.

could i get a cobb ap stage 2 for now when i get the other stuff get the street tuner..and tune it myself. but im not an expert at this stuff...yet! lol

seeing how u guys have done these upgrades already and know whats good........what do u think i should do? thanks for the help

Sounds like you need a bunch of money and you need to study more. I can tell that you have not by how ignorant your post was. I'm not trying to flame or insult you but I could write 3 pages in answering your inconsistent questions.

That particular topic has been discussed into oblivion in these forums.

Search for "Cobb or EcuTek" and "AccessPort or Ecutek"

I had a Cobb AP on my '04 WRX and I'm getting a Cobb AP for my '06 STI.

I like the fact that I can read the trouble codes and reset my ECU without losing all of my preset radio stations. It doesn't give the best tune sense it's an Off The Shelf (OTS) tune/map but if you plan on doing some serious mods in the future the door is always open as you can upgrade to a Protune, StreetTune, or even a better OTS map by PDX.

I also like the fact that once you are done with the AP and no longer need it you can always sell it to someone else and get most of your money back.

Sense you have an '02 you can usually pick up a used one fairly cheap. If you find that you don't like it or choose to run something different you can always sell it for what you picked up for.

If you don't have a lot of time to tune, just go with ecutek. I wish I did...
