I just got a brand new wrx and was wondering if anyone has some suggestions for a good alarm system. I got lojack installed and the installer said that starter killers dont work because I have a stick. I want to get something that will stop the thief from starting the car but dont know what to get. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lojack's great for getting your car back (I wish we had it in the Pacific Northwest!), but for theft prevention, the details and quality of the install will make all the difference. Go find a local installer or two with good references and a track record that you can check, and see what they recommend. Since you're probably going to be the only one around who cares about your car, you might want to consider a pager system that pages you when the car is broken into... Remember, it won't end up being cheap.
