heh ya my parents bought one for my brother at costco i think they paid 390 or 490
for the premium xbox with project gotham racing, extra controller and a rechargable batterey pack..
pretty good deal im not sure if there is anymore there tho i think they said that was like the 2nd to the last one

$449 at Costco gets you the Premium package, an extra wireless controller (with the plug-in recharge/play cords for both controllers, two total) and the new PGR game, which sucks as bad as the originals. :lol: Not sure if the regular premium pack gets you the cord for the first wireless, but I know buying a controller at a store means you have to buy the controller and, seperately, the cord for like another 20 bucks, or just use AA batts. Oh, you also get the TV controller looking thing for use as a DVD player, I suppose--not sure if that comes with the regular premium or not...

They'll keep getting palletes in...so will Sam's, but it's a different deal--at least the original bundles were different--they had no game, but didn't cost as much. I think it had the spare controller and maybe the DVD controller thing. Not sure.

PS3 for me. :D

As long as they don't pull the PS2 trick, tell you it's going to have all these great new features, and then cut them all at the end only to add them again 3 years later, for 100 bucks a piece.

Should be a good machine--hopefully it will have something besides GT5 that will make me want it.

Oh well, back to Oblivion on the 360 for now.

I heard the sony doesn't even have a working model for the PS3 yet.
But back to the 360, What games does everyone have and how do you like them? I'm ready for a new game or two but i'm not sure what to get.
i've got madden, need for speed and king kong.
Need for speed is by far the bests of the three.

if u like shooters, cant go wrong with perfect dark or call of duty..
but not much is out.. still waiting for something new to come out..
i have rumble rose.. good visuals but not at all a good game..
i wish they brought out smackdown vs raw 2007...


ps3 will not come out until maybe the end of the year for japan..
and then next summer for us..

I'm pretty hard to please...let me say that up front.

Call of Duty--good, fun, imersive, pretty.

Project Gotham Racing--useless crap, uninteresting cars, rewards stupid driving, cool locations (it's scarry how accurate the Las Vegas locations were)

Perfect Dark Zero--total crap single-player, slightly more fun online, ugliest game so far.

Elderscrolls 4: Oblivion--Addictive, pretty, some glitches (mostly the kind you can exploit), time consuming.

I bought Call of Duty and Elderscrolls (I actually wanted them). PGR came with my bundle and a friend got me PDZ to play online (and then my router crashed). I'm interested in the WWII flyer, and Dead Rising, but otherwise not much out there interests me (on any system/PC).

let me get your pgr and pdz for 25 bucks each.

now i got the premuim, need some games.. but dont really want to play
too much..

I might consider the PGR, but I'll keep that craptacular PDZ because my friend got is specifically so we could play (with some Lower 48 friends). Once my wireless router is up again, I'll play with them.
