i pickedup a crimeguard alarm/keyless system and am trying to figure out antenna options. its got a wire antenna on it, which im sure will be fine. but for cleanliness of install i'd like to keep it out of sight, so im thinking of running it up the A pillar trim. however, is there someway i can use the cars radio antenna instead? i'm guessing the reception would be far better and it would look alot cleaner.

i was planning to put the brain of the unit in the centre console, so its hard for anyone that might break in to find, but the antenna issue is making me pause.
