ummm...not without rolling your fenders. normally people go with +48 or even +52; somewhere around there. but that width wheel isn't recommended especially with any kind of drop. rubbage up the butthole.

Go to the motorsport forum and look for the wide tire thread. They have all the answers you seek.

I'm of the opinion that you should stay as close to factory offset as possible REGARDLESS of the width of the wheel.

I am running 17x8.5 48mm offset. I have 235/40-17 Eagles on the car. Car is lowered with a JDM STi v7 RA takeoff suspension. Running -2 camber in the front, -1.6 in the rear. Not only is there no rubbing, but there is plenty of room to spare.

Aligment has allot to do with the tire rubbing or not. If I went much more than -2 in the rear, it might rub the strut tower. That would be the tire however and not the wheel.

Picture of the car at speed with the rear suspension compressed in a high speed turn at summit point.

Ohhhh, deffinitely serious. I have researched 96785 threads about it. Supposed to ship today, be here early next week...

If it works it will be rediculously sick.

If it doesn't, I will get a lot of "told you so's" and I just may cry over the fact that I just lost a butt ton of money....

Why would it not work? I am running 17x8.5 on a darn bugeye with no fender roll and all the fender liners in place! I swear this site has more "Nancy boys" when it comes to fitting a decent size wheel to their car. Go big, align the car around any small issues, and get decent size rubber on a real wheel so it doesn't flop around like a 90 year old man without his Viagra IV drip.

I have just heard from some it might not work. I plan to have good amount of negative camber (Im an auto-x whore). I am using a .5" wider wheel with 10mm less offset than you. You do give me hopethat Ill be okay though! '05's have very little room to roll the rear fenders. I am gonna be lowered on GF210's if CVR ever ships them, .5" rear and 1" front.

Those are the wheels, black racing pro n1's in flat black going on my black sti. Tinting the windows soon as I can afford. it will be mean as the devil. Gonna get some mudflaps to to help cover all that extra rubber. what ya think?

Sorry for the thread hijack!
