Just looking to see if anyone has any info on swapping my 06 Sti front end to a 02-03?? I realize it will require new fenders/hood/bumper cover/grill/headlights/fogs, but what am i missing? My 06 already has a FMIC so the bumper beam is deleted, but the nice thing is that it has all the mounting holes for the upper part of the bumper cover for an 05 down car. So i think i am on the right track, what else am i missing? Thanks!

A pretty easy swap......rad support, hood, fenders, lights, rad support upright, hood latch, headlight buckets (the metal around the hole behind headlight) front bumper, and bumper beam (needed to hold the bumper)....... thats all I can think fo right now, but thats it.....You'll need to take the car to a competant bodyshop to remove the original parts and weld back on the new...

just keep in mind that a good portion of the work will be welding in the new radiator core supports

I have an '03 and would to do an '06 conversion. Want to do a swap? Where are you located? I have a CW II front bump, JDM bumper Beam, and CW II hood.

12secsti....no probs.......too bad you don't live closer...I have an Aspen white bug-eye with JDM headlights, and grill that I would have traded you for...I've had my car for almost 5 years, and wouldn't mind a change...:P

 why the hell would you want to do a bug eye conversion on an 06?

why wouldnt you? bugeye w/ jdm projectors look alot better than the current "blob eye"

post some pics, it will be awesone. Bugeye rocks. I wonder if you could get away with using prepainted components or the paint faded too much.

I would almost do this myself, if I had an '06 or '05 Sti. Maybe the '02-03 components are lighter too? I say that because there was info that the '06 Sti was heavier on the front than the '04-'05.

Each from end has it's advantages. I am partial to the Bugeye as well. GO FOR IT.
