Po Boyz carpet. On State.. just down from where you work. It's about 80th south and state. On the East side. I used to lay carpet .. back in 89' and do not do anymore.

i think that you probably have to cut out the part that got messed up and then get the new peice and then glue it down. and then just tape the edges down to the carpet so it doesnt fray or anything like that.

Before you do that.. the question I have is.. is this your house or an apt? If its an apt, let you landlord know you need some repair.. If its your house.. you have 3 options.. 1, find a match to the carpet you have, and just replace the messed up part...2, Redo the whole room, or 3 find any type of carpet and cut it in. Now you need to know that you will have to have the right glue tape for carpet, and it will need to be restreached after the seaming is done.
Ohh how about doing Pergo flooring instead of the carpet with a dog in the house it might last better :D .
I do know what I am at least talking about with this stuff. Its not a simple fix..shoot me your digets in a pm and I will hook you up with a good carpet guy.

Just beaware that if you let your landlord know about it.. once it is repaired you will have to pay for it. Usaly in your next months rent. So just be aware of that. Otherwise I would just have the apt. complex fix it. It will save you tons of headaches.

I would call a few places.. like Po Boyz's, RC willy, Ogdens outlet ect.. and have them bid it. That way you have a ball park on what it should run. I also have a guy that lays carpet on the side that can help you out. Just let me know what you wanna do. I head out of town this Friday. So let me know.
