Any tuners on the western slope? Specifically looking for Protune service, anywhere in Co. Who's the favorite around here? ...or should i just drive to Cobb?

From my search last fall, there is only one Protuner in Co. Logic Imports and I have heard nothing good at all about them. Mac Autosports in Parker is contemplating becoming a Pro Tuner and periodically has others come in to do Protunes on their dyno. I can't quote who it is off the top of my head but they are well respected. On the western slope you're probably screwed. Given the choice, drive to SLC vs drive to Denver, I'd just go to Cobb. Check out here for more Co specific information.

Protune?

My problem is that I recently had two maps made at Sea Level by Harman Motive. They did a great job btw. I didn't know at the time i would be moving back to the high country. My car now has a huge surge of extra fuel everytime i let off the gas and depress the clutch to shift. This mainly occurs under load like when im going up hill or any time the turbo is spooling.

Looks like a trip to SLC is in my future...

Anyone know what Cobb charges for a Protune?

No, not Protune. Super Rupair tunes with Ecutek IIRC. As I stated, the only licsensed protuner in Co is Logic Imports and I've heard some very bad things about them.

That's right. Harvey does ECUtek tunes, not Cobb tunes. He is a very good tuner and I would trust him with my children...

I would really appreciate some more specifics on why Logic Imports is so terrible. Any input would be appreciated!
