noob question.

would it be possible to reflash the stock ecu to account for a 3" TBE and a CAI without having to get an aftermarket EM system? i know the exhaust will throw an O2 cel until i can figure out how to make that little "extension" piece for the O2 sensor... but i'm not sure if that will mess up A/F ratios and blah blah blah.. but i was putting off getting an EM system because of $$...

hey man... i know what you mean. im kind of reluctant to smack $800 big ones just for a reflash that will net a 10-20-30 hp diff. it just doesn't seem all that fiscally smart. ive been looking into getting a A/F ctlr. and tuning it on the street what about you?

If you don't know what you are doing, do not try this. Spend the $650-$800 to get either an accessport or en ecutek tune. Both flash the stock ecu and will net you 20-30whp with no mods. If you decide to add mods later you don't pay the $650 - $800 again. You just pay to have it tuned or you install a base map from the accessport for free.

you can try to score an already reflashed ECUTEK ecu on the private for sale forum. If you are lucky you can find one that is already flashed to stage 2 for about $400. Take off that intake and plug in the new ecu, done.
