Covers every Suby between 83-00 on a disc, for $14 shipped. Has anyone ever used one of these? Recommend it over a Chiltons?

eBay Link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1983-2000-SUBARU-IMPREZA-SERVICE-REPAIR-MANUALS-ON-CD_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ119140QQitemZ8055624 139QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)

Thanks

For reference, my '04 WRX service manual unzipped is more than 300MB. The eBay auction mentions needing 50MB on disc to install, and whether it still accesses the CD for data while running the program or if 50MB is everything, it's not very large considering the years and models it covers. I'd save your money, it's likely about as useful as a Chilton's, which in my experience isn't very useful because you never have a diagram that really matches your car.

id like to see screenshots first before id go ahead and buy anything... best bet really, and im sure many around here will agree, is to save your pennies and get the factory service manuals... i got mine off ebay slightly used for about $150... i believe they're almost $400 new... best investment in my car yet... and nothing like having the books in the garage w/ me while i'm working - who wants to go inside w/ greasy fingers and start clicking around on a computer

fyi, i got mine HERE (http://stores.ebay.com/Manuals4you_Subaru_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ8QQftidZ 2QQtZkm)... quick shipping and good communication

If you only need the manuals for a certain car, you can get them LEGALLY for a $30 subscription to http://techinfo.subaru.com

If these are in fact the factory service manuals (not likely), then they are probably illegal copies.
