I am from Jersey, driving a 99 2.5GT! I live about 35 minutes from Philly. Like Felix, I will be going to E-town on the 31st. I drove up there this past Sunday but the event was rained out.

I'm in Silver Spring, MD, a suburb of Washington, DC. My house is 8 miles from Ground Zero (www.Whitehouse.gov for you youngin's that missed the Cold War).

Despite the slow-moving traffic around Washington, DC, I still drive a stick and have a strong desire for a turbocharged Subaru.

I'm just over the border here in Oregon. Well actually Central OR that is, Bend. Only one with a modded Subie, unless you count bullbars and such. Home of Mt. Bachelor and all the skiing/snowboarding lies.
If you'd like a pic of my modded Legacy, drop me a line. Long list of additions.

Hi, I'm Mark. I live in Edmonton, CANADA. I'm probably the furthest North on this Site at 53.4deg latitude. My wife and I just ordered a MY2000 2.5GT with 5spd. Snow is coming very soon :-). Expect delivery in three weeks. Used to own a 96 Legacy Brighton. It was awesome. The GT should be even better.

Cheers,
Markus

Your friend is partly correct. As I know, the 2k GTs have the 5spd or Auto in the Sedan, the Wagon only available in Auto. My wife and I are getting the sedan.

Hi
I'm Sergio, a few days ago I bought a wrecked 99 Legacy GT 2.5 and I've been looking for info and parts for it online. This is my first Subaru and I'm sorry to say that I haven't even driven it...YET! Last Saturday (i found out thru these forums) there was going to be an autoX event at the San Diego Stadium, so I went, took my camera and took lots of pictures of the races, as well as lots of images of Imprezas from a brand new chapter in So. Cal.,where I got to meet some wonderful Subbie owners and also Mr. Mike Shields(owner of SPD Tuning Service... http://www.spdusa.com ) what a Guru! I got to talk to him for a while and found out several facts about my car (obviously things I didn't know), well anyway I had a good time... as for the pictures of the event and also to see pics of my Legacy (wrecked remember?) go to http://subbie.8m.com
Thanks!

New reply to old post.

Get your Legacy on the Members board.

I can't beleive i'm the only Legacy owner that's registered in Utah.

Then again, i've never seen a modded Legacy around but there are a few Turbos.

HI 2 All! I'm a fellow Legacy owner too, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.... 3hrs south of Edmonton. Anyways, I have a '99 2.5GT stick (BD5) and also a '98 L auto (BD5). Anyways, I don't think there are that many people into Legacys as much as the Imprezas... crap, makes are parts so much more expensive! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif oh well.... anyways, for all those with Legacys MY'95-99 If you're interested in getting performance parts/body kits for your car, drop me a msg. I'm doing lots of R&D for all model years of Legacys.. but mostly for the B(D/G)5 chassis designation. Currently we have a Stainless Steel fully tunable mandrel bent exhast that
is being offered as a group buy, as well as a new front bumper cover and side skirts as well as a carbon fiber hood.

Hey GTBguy,
Wow, that bumper cover looks really nice. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smile.gif how much is that running? I am assuming that it will be in CAD. I bought a APEXi Megaphone cat-back system from a buddy of mine up in Vancouver a year ago, nice. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/biggrin.gif
We should meet up sometime. On occasion, I go up there jsut to hang out with my buds.

I'm very close to buying a 93 Touring Wagon. It's in a shop getting the RR wheel bearing replaced or else i'd probably be zooming around right now.

It's too bad the 95-99 drivers have to resort to kits in order to get a turbo.

I used to have a '93 legacy L and I'm from NV. Traded it for 2000 2.5RS though. I miss that car a little.

I'm one of the few in MN. At least registered. Subaru Legacys are very popular in duluth. It's the impreza's that aren't around. I've only seen one RS in person around here.

'93 Legacy L AWD wagon here in WV. 140,000 miles and runs as well as it did when I bought it in '95.
With the teal paint and gold RS wheels it looks better to me than the million or so Outbacks running around! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif
