My check engine lights came on and I pulled a knock sensor code, actually with two different scanners too. Sorry, forgot the P number but it said knock sensor malfunction. Should I just replace the knock sensor?

I couldn't find them on my PDF manual (easily?) and just went out and did it. From "open hood time" to "come back and type this time" it was 15 minutes, 10mm to disconnect battery, 12mm for knock sensor. Little buggers are pricey, but I 'spose they serve a valuable purpose! :D replaced it on the wagon with 182,000 miles Uncle Scotty 06-07-2006, 09:40 AM  |
