no, correct me if I'm wrong, they don't have a suggested mileage to load the AP. From personal experience, I would wait until close to 10k miles, 5k if you must. This will give the engine sometime to break in fully, as well as other aspects of the car (clutch, etc) Learn how to drive the car at its current state so you will learn how the car exactly handles (which comes with time) and you will also appreciate the mods more later on. I waited until about 16k to so the exhaust, 20 somthing for the AP, now I'm at 30 and just did the coilovers.

I would tune ur suspension first!

my $.02

im in the process of modding the suspension(springs, RSB). however the TBE i bought from my friend is really taking up space in my house, thats why i want to put on the TBE so bad. i dont want to run TBE without EM, thats why im inquiring abt the AP. a tuner once told my friend that he should wait at least 3k miles b4 using the AP, so im checking with Cobb to see if thats true.

Wait till after 3750 miles. That is the Subaru official break-in period, because that is when you are supposed to get your first oil change.
But I got my oil change at 1500 miles, then again at 3750, and then put my exhaust on and went to Stage 2 at 4000 miles.

Hrm... I talked with the subaru parts guy and the people I bought the accessport from and they said it was safe to do it after 1000 because thats what subaru recomends as break in.. So thats what I did... exhaust and accessport... *shrug* Im to power hungry maybe..

i would wait until at least 5k before doing any mods just to make sure there aren't any manufacturing defects from the factory. granted 5k may not be enough for those defects to show up, but it's still a good period to wait for.

Yeah, When I bought them they said that as long as I was over 1000 miles it wouldnt hurt.. Hell I just hung with a 02 z28 and spanked a GTI so im definantly happy with it.
