okay target boost is around 16.7 psi if im not mistaken... when i was using the base map i used real time and flashed base gave it time to learn ecu etc.. i was getting like 15psi in 2nd and like 15.3 max in 3rd. i checked all bolts etc make sure they were tight so i tried the hwg real time and i was hitting high 16's in 3rd hitting pretty good boost so i figured i would change to base map. i changed base map to hwg and now im hitting over 17 psi i hit 17.3 and i think thats kind of dangerous i've heard that you could detonate if u run too much boost or if hwg map is run wrongly. anyone with similar problems or any ideas help please i have done much searching but found nothing to really solve this. this is for a 04 sti with helix catted dp and ap only heatshield is not on yet if that could be the source of problem also i had a problem earlier with intercooler hose with the 2 hose clamps that kept sliding off so i lost boost fixed that put on 3 hose clamps to secure it. help please!

target boost for cobb stg 2 on an sti is 17.5psi (+/- 0.5psi)

did u install the map recently?...on mine it took about 3 days for me to see target boost. i was hitting 16.5psi in the begining, and now i hit 17.3psi after the ecu went through the learning process.

First of all, loading a realtime map to check the target boost is not right. Base maps contain additional logic that realtime maps don't so realtime maps may not give you the right boost. I would not load the HWG basemap unless I cannot achieve the target boost with the regular basemap. Did you even try loading the regular stage 2 basemap? Also, since you don't have a 3" catback your peak boost may be slightly slightly below the target boost. it doesn't mean it'll happen, but it's a possibility (it happened to me).

i am hitting 20 psi on stage 2.....soo i putted on stock and cruise....waiting on to upgrade on a bigger turbo....

if u were hitting 20 psi i thing ur engine would have detonated....
