what other things should i look out for or buy or any info you guys can give me?

edit - Be sure to look into rally rules/ classification so you dont end up at the bottom of a class you didnt want to be in in the first place.

06/07 tranny is not a good choice- a ver 5 RA tranny is a very good choice
teh 06/07 has no speed sensor port 06-07 cars get their speedo information from the abs module via can bus

V5 WRX and V5 STI both make the same power (280HP). The STI motor has a higher redline and more torque though.
