Im sorry.....
'05STi 04-19-2006, 02:00 AM Dang!!! How long have you owned it with that payment?
8 months or so.
Go finance 37k with a 4.75% apr and tell me what your payment is.....
$20/month for every 1000 financed is about what you can expect.
hilfiger4you 04-19-2006, 03:06 AM dont go buying a car you cant afford it. THats why americans are in debt idiot. You owe more money than what the car is worth i am lmao.

Most everybody that buys a new car immmediately owes more than what it is woth. Thats what happens when you finance. "IDIOT".
I cant afford my car? How would you know that? You have know idea how much money I make.
hilfiger4you 04-19-2006, 05:09 AM Look, maybe I sounded like an a hole but that is not what i tried to be. Most people finance even I do too. However, when I bought my sti I put down 15k and financed the rest. It does not make economically since to me to be financing the entire care and make huge monthly payments with interested in there. YOu said you pay 600 bux a month right? Well I pay my car like 300 something and I rather use that extra money to invest in something. I rather build asset rather then incurr debt. Thats a econ 101 my friend.

Actually, you need to retake Econ 101. You essentially paid $15K to avoid 4.25% in interest when you could (and should) have invested the $15K and got a 10-15% return. You say you are going to "invest or something," but what are you investing - the $300 bucks per month you saved? Joining a Christmas Club is not investing, my friend.
wow, that really sucks. i traded in my 05 sti with 31K for $23.5K (thereby netting an extra 1.4K in tax savings). i know when i had my sti up for sale here, no one was biting at a realistic amount so i took it straight to the dealer. most car buyers at nasioc are lowballers. you won't get a good sales price here.
sold mine for $23.5K with 18,000 miles
hilfiger4you 04-19-2006, 05:59 PM point is simple. I have less debt and more asset. Is that good or bad I don't know you tell me.

+5
LOL, never put that much down on a car!!! People need to learn how to invest right. Besides, for the most part, people don't keep their cars long enough to justify that size of a deposit.
05STi, unfortunately you are going to take a big hit regardless. check out KBB and see what trade-in, private, market value is for it. You might be better off just keeping the car.
wrxited 04-19-2006, 06:33 PM Dude soo rude........but sooo right.....

izzodesh 04-19-2006, 06:39 PM gl with your sale but judgin by recent threads of 05's any sti with no mods is worth more... and the 05 sti with 18k that sold for 23.5 k is about right... the highest i have seen is 25.8k for and sti with 8k on it...and no mods with warranty.
Do what i did, drop a ton of $ into to make it more luxurious and fasttttttttttttter!
beautiful stance thou!!! what springs/coil is it sitting on?
ohh and sry those foos are ruining ur thread
ImprezaRS2000 04-19-2006, 07:34 PM Yeah, people on here see some go for SUPER cheap (from someone who just wants it gone fast and doesn't need the money) and think that they can get any STi that cheap. Look it up on KBB people - 32k is obviously too much, but expect to pay at least $25k! '04s are still selling for $26k from dealers...
Good luck on the sale man.

I think I like your ideas. I dont know what I was thnking about selling my car. I feel stupid!!! I went out driving my car and realized once again why I bought it.
I have S-tech springs but they are going soon i think.
Thanks for the help guys.
ihaveadent 04-20-2006, 12:42 AM hilfiger4u are you and engineer or a doctor or something? i hope you dont deal in financial matters because you dont understand econ. 101. that said, it is a bad idea to buy a car without putting enough down to keep yourself from having negative equity 05sti.

How about investing in a spell checker?
Or a grammar checker?
