View Full Version : Going from Protune to Street-tune

Do you guys know if I can reuse the base map of a protune with a realtime street tune map?

I was protuned about 2 months ago but now I have done an engine swap and upgraded my ex.wg/uppipe and bov. Plus I found out my injectors were not seated properly from the start. So its gonna need some tweaking and the closest protuner that I really trust is 7 hours out.

So I want to tune this thing myself, but would like to have a starting point - my protuned map.

Thanks

You would need the tuner to send you the tune in ST format. You can't use a regular AP map.

I wonder how many tuners would be willing to do that since it kinda takes that business away from them.

If he would not, am I correct in thinking that I would have to begin from scratch building a base map and then realtime map?

Also, if I have an electronic boost controller, will I need to fool with any boost or Wastegate duty cycles on the street tuner software?
