I would post this in the EM forum but i feel this is a better place.
Tried to take the Access Port off yesterday to get the car tuned and after unmarring the AP the cars iddle was off. And it would not Rev above 3000 RPM's. Called customer support (great guys) and they informed me of the issue and how to fix it. I looked throught the boards and didnt find anything on this so i figure i would start a thread.
Problem: After unmarring the AP (2006 WRX) the cars iddle is off and will not rev above 3k
Resolve: Updated the Access Port via this link and unmarrie again:
http://www.accessecu.com/kb/index.php?ToDo=view&questId=39&catId=3
Steps:
1: If you have unmarried the AP and find this issue Re-install the AP
2: Download the above patch and sync it to the AP
3: Unmarry the AP again.
This is not to bash Cobb in anyway. I was verry happy with the AP but was stuck for a hour and a half trying to firure this out. Just an FYI to all the 06's with the AP.
