I have a 2006 WRX with stage 2 93 octane Cobb and i have a question regarding the boost.

The target peak boost for the stage 2 is 15.2psi and i am getting a reading of 14.6 +/- (accessport reading). I am wandering if adjasting the wastegate arm (making it shorter) and bringing the boost up a little closer to 15.2psi would be an issue? I dont see why it would be an issue but i thought of posting this and fiding out what the experts think.

Please let me know.

THank you for your time.

How long have you been on Stage 2?

Well, i have been on stage two for about 3 months but i resently reseted it using the accessport so all of the learning was gone. Do you think i should wait a little longer? how long? couple of weeks?

Thanks

Well the question is, what were you hitting before you reset it? Why did you reset it?

I see 15.9 on my '06 in 4th under load. You'll see slightly higher boost levels in higher gears, and especially uphill. BTW, I just reflashed 1 week ago.

Also, weather plays a role.

Boost usually goes down in the summer months, FYI.

Give it learning time, and check back. It usually takes 300 miles plus.
