I have found a set of wheels and tires that i am going to be getting tommorow.
they are some 16" wrx wheels with Federal SS535 tires with good tread left. :banana: Thanx for all of your offers.

I am looking for either 16" wrx wheels with tires or 16" rota slipstreams(black) with tires. I'm looking to pay no more than $350 for a complete set.

The reason why I'm looking for a new set of wheels and tires is because I got a flat on my car and decided it would be better to get some better looking wheels and buy some new tires later than just keeping my stock steelies on it.

I have some '03 stock rims from my WRX with new (less than 2 months old) Toyo Proxes on them...I may be buying rims soon...how long can you wait?

I was hoping to get some within a week or so because I need to drive my car to work. I am running the spare right now which is fine for short little trips.

Were you looking to get the rims AND tires for $350? Also, where are you located?

Yeah that's the general idea. I might be able to pay a little more for shipping. I live in Bothell,WA (30 min north of Seattle).

I'll let you know if I end up with rims in the next few days...it's very possible that I do.

i got a set of 02 wrx rims powder coated gold(granted not the best job) but they look pretty good, tires are khumo ecsta MX. but i was looking to get 400

To DriftinWrx: How much tread are left on the tires, and what type of tires (i.e. winter/summer) are they? $400 might be a little high due to the fact that I am a college student and funds are sort of tight So maybe $350 - $375ish. Also would you happen to have a pic or two of your wheels?

nvm driftnWrx about the tire type, i just looked them up. I'm looking for more of an all season tire. But since the summer is coming up, maybe.

to dlh1999: what model of the Toyo Proxes do you have because there are like 6-8 different types of that tire.

I have the Toyo Proxes 4 on the rims. Because the rims have a couple dings here and there, I'd probably let them go for about $350 + shipping. Depending on 1) when I get different rims & tires, and 2) when you needed the rims & tires by, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to meeting you somewhere to avoid S&H charges. At this point, I'm still waiting to see if a wheel deal will come through (or waiting to find a good deal)...I'll let you know when I know more.

You're north of Seattle, correct? I know you said within a week or so you'll need rims...if you could let me know how long you can wait I can let you know whether or not it'll be possible for me to part with my rims & tires at this point in time...
