I've been looking at Subarus for a looongg time. I'm finally starting to get everything lined up now. Went to the dealer today and test drove an 06 WRX and it was a blast!

I'm having a problem now though in that the dealership is offering very low on my trade-in - $9K for a 2001 Acura CL with 48K miles. So it looks like I'll be selling my car myself first. I still have to ask a few other dealerships though. They also said to get steel gray like I want, it will cost extra because they don't have the car there at their dealership.

Funny thing though, the girl I was working with kept trying to stall as long as she could with me for some reason. She handed my keys to someone to inspect my car, then she kept screwing around with me and leaving me hanging. I finally asked "can I have my car keys back?" She was like, oh well your car is out back being inspected. I was like "it's parked right there." And you could tell she was like CRAP. I think they liked keeping me hostage there by holding my keys back. Seems like some things never change with car dealerships.

Anyway, I'm going to work through all of this and I WILL get my 2006 WRX!!

All I can say is that there is no way that it should cost more money to get you a car from another dealership or order it. When I worked at a dealership that was just part of doing businness. I would call BS and go to another dealership. Sounds like they are a little shady.

Hmm I'll remember that. I think they were trying to push me towards buying at that moment. So if I thought it would cost more to get a different car I would just choose one on the lot.

Where are you located???

Go to a different dealer.

do NOT let THEM tell YOU what YOU want.

Skip the TR and get a 'regular' non- LTD WRX(REALLY), unless the LTD is what ya want.

Contact SOA and find the dealer that has the car YOU want and go get it if the dealer ya went to is jackin ya---and they ARE.
